My Experience

I have been counseling young people more than 30 years and have professional degrees in School Psychology (Ed.D., Certified School Psychologist) and Marriage and Family Therapy (M.A.,Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist). Before becoming a therapist I was an elementary and secondary school teacher for several years.

I recently retired from 20+ years as a staff clinician in the department of child psychiatry at the Cambridge Health Alliance. In that position I worked at Cambridge Hospital, neighborhood clinics, and public schools in this area. My work has been primarily with school-age children relating to a variety of concerns including school performance, behavior, mood and emotion, trauma, and family issues.
